Inspired by the renowned Fabergé eggs, two of which are on view at Hillwood, this vibrant glass ornament is mouth-blown and hand-painted in Poland. Also known as the Grisaille Egg, the original egg was a gift from Tsar Nicholas II to his mother, Tsarina Maria Fedorovna, for Easter 1914.
