This vibrant towel, designed by Nina J. Designs exclusively for Hillwood, is inspired by the four dawn redwood trees at Hillwood. The dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a deciduous conifer native to China. Once thought to be extinct, this species was known only to fossil records until it was discovered in a mountainous region of China in the 1940s. Hillwood’s trees were planted for Marjorie Post in 1960.
