This set of four reusable coasters with velvet backing features porcelain plate designs from the Sèvres collection at Hillwood. Each coaster features a different porcelain design: A turquoise dinner plate adorned with floral bouquets, a green saucer with revolutionary symbols, a yellow saucer with rebuses, and a turquoise dinner plate from the Rohan service. Marjorie Post was an avid collector of eighteenth-century French decorative arts and always had a distinguished arrangement on display at her home in Washington, DC.
